TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday is learnt to have met leaders of various political parties in New Delhi and explained to them the need for carving a separate Telangana state.
The TRS leader, according to his close aide, was on a meeting-spree on Thursday to drive home his point regarding the urgency of creating a separate state and explained to them the long-drawn struggle for Telangana.
KCR is learnt to have spent about two hours with each of the leaders he met. However, the aides of KCR are not willing to disclose the names of the leaders he had met on Thursday. "We would like to keep those details a secret for the time being. Some of them are those who were opposed to separate state," they said. KCR is also understood to have made it clear that TRS would support any party at the Centre that would facilitate carving of a separate state.
