The high profile and much in news DGP Mohanty got all round applause for his efficient handling of polling in the state. The elections this time were by and large peaceful and it was largely due to the untiring efforts of the DGP. The police also managed to seize over 40 crores of unaccounted money from many politicians and their followers during searches during the run up to the polls.
Mohanty took leave after the polling came to an end in the state. He is now appearing for the LLB exams. Mohanaty is now writing his second semester exams at the Padala Rami Reddy Law College in Hyderabad.
