"One in, one out" seems to be the trend that is beset TDP these days. When Chandrababu thought that he pulled a coup of sorts by snaring Devender Goud back into the party, he is all set to face a fresh storm brewing within the ranks. The epicenter of that storm is Talasani Yadav who has told CBN in so many words that TDP is too small a party to hold both him and Devender Goud at the same time. The message from Talasani was clear, “if Goud comes in, I will walk out”. Talasani though has a point. When Devender Goud resigned from the TDP last year, it was Talasani Yadav who held the Telengana section of the TDP cadre together . But CBN for reasons best known to him has sidelined Yadav and highlighted the pro-Telengana coterie. Yadav being a samaikhyawadi should have had more prominence. Today, Talasani Yadav feels that Goud’s reentry will further suffocate his growth within the party. And if the present trend of affairs is any indication he will most likely quit the party.
