During the second and final day's Mahanadu meetings held at Hyderabad, Jr. NTR once again become centre of attraction. He said that, ‘We are here to serve the people. We should not feel sorry for our defeat, because our ultimate goal is serving the people and not winning the elections and sitting in the chairs as ministers.
Former president of USA, Abraham Lincoln was defeated several times, Nelson Mandela spent half his life in jail before his election to President of South Africa, Mohammed Gori who made number of attempts to conquer India, at last won the battle. All these persons achieved their goal after fighting a long battle. We, also should be prepared for such fight, and shouldn’t be disappointed. I am ready to sacrifice my life for the party, and I expect the same from the party cadres.
Our defeat taught us a good lesson. In fact, it’s good for our party future. Many people who gathered around us expecting to share power with us, now left us, just like frogs disappear from dry ponds. Now, only dedicated party cadres remain in the party, and their services surely bring glory to the party.’
